"OilSeizer" KOWS Oil/Water Separators

Product Description
KOWS Oil/Water Separators are widely used to separate oils mixed together within oily water and solution. They are frequently applied to the situations where (1) an appropriate time is not allowed that would let mechanically emulsified oil droplets freely rise to the surface of water or (2) an appropriate space is unavailable for larger settling tanks or where (3) more rapid separation of in-line oily water is mostly desired for continuous recirculation. Under this circumstances, oil/water separators work better than ordinary belt oil skimmers.

How it works
Oily water is fed to the inflow chamber of O/W separator by gravity or pump and rapidly separates into three phases when passing through the separation chamber equipped with an oil coalescing media pack that provides increased surface area for coalescing of the oil droplets. Coalescing and growing bigger, oil droplets eventually rise up to upper side of the pack and gravitationally discharge through the rotary pipe skimmer. Clean water flows out through the outflow chamber. Most of heavier suspended solids settle down in the inflow chamber and in the separator chamber do the remains as well. The sludge should be purged periodically.
