"Oil Seizer" Belt OIL Skimmers

KOS-B Oil Skimmers are generally applied to the removal and recovery of floating oils from the surface of water and solution.

How it works

The motor-driven oleophilic belt rotates two pulleys going in and out of the surface oil layer. Oils stick to both sides of the rotating belt and get wiped out as the belt passes between bisymmetric wiping blades. Wiped oils flow down to the oil trough and then to the built-in oil/water separator. Virtually, water-free oils and oil-free water discharge through respective outlets of the separator.

For best skimming results, oils as well as greases and fats should be immiscible and in a free-flowing state. Meanwhile, the water surface needs to be calm and oil droplets emulsified mechanically in the water require appropriate time to freely rise toward the surface before the water carries them out in the effluent.
